In the Community
This month, we’ve attended several community events. We had a table at the RAM (Remote Area Medical) clinic, which was a two day event the first weekend in October that provided FREE medical, dental, and vision care to anyone who was able to attend. We also attended the community health fair at the Queensbury Senior Center, which was attended by many different health related agencies that provides resources for our area. Find us later this month at SUNY Adirondack in the Community Hub where we will be available to provide information and support to college students in the community.
Outdoor Fridays
We have hosted several different agencies this month at Outdoor Fridays, including Fidelis, CDPHP, and Cornell Cooperative Extension. Attendance is still going strong, and we still have quite the selection of donated items available. Stop by on Fridays between 10am-3pm (weather permitting) and check it out. We plan on continuing Outdoor Fridays indefinitely, until the weather stops us!
