Happy June! During the month of May, we provided food and essential personal items in 82 different cases helping families and individuals in need. Our food pantry is open Monday through Friday from 9-3. If you or someone you know is in need of food, please give us a call to schedule a pick up.

100 Envelope Fundraising Challenge
Our 100 Envelope Challenge ended on a successful note! Because of your donations, we will be able to provide assistance and hope to our families and individuals in need. Thank you for your support!

Outdoor Fridays
This month we were able to provide a variety of vegetable and flower seedlings during Outdoor Fridays, which were a huge hit! The seedlings went fast, and people brought home tomatoes, lettuce, eggplants, and a variety of seeds to start their own at-home garden. Thank you to Master Gardener Shellie for the beautiful selection!

Stop by on Fridays from 10 to 3, weather permitting, throughout the summer. Clothing, produce, household items, and information on services will be available at no charge. Please note: parking for Outdoor Fridays is only available on the street in front of our building. Please DO NOT park in the neighbor’s lot.

Token Transit
We’ve partnered with Greater Glens Falls Transit to provide a new electronic method for using bus passes! We will continue to offer physical bus tokens, but now you have the option to get a day pass sent straight to your phone instead. This is a One Day Pass that can be used as many times as you need during a 24 hour period. The day pass can be used for multiple rides, transfers, and trolleys. Each pass can only be applied to one passenger.  All you need is a smartphone and a connection (either WiFi or minutes) to activate the pass.

If you’re interested in using this Token Transit option instead of physical bus tokens, just let us know next time you come by and we’ll get you a day pass!
