Happy July! During the month of June, we provided food and essential personal items in more than 125 different cases helping families and individuals in need. Our food pantry is open Monday through Friday from 9-3. If you or someone you know is in need of food, please give us a call to schedule a pick up.
Outdoor Fridays
Have you stopped by to check out Outdoor Fridays yet? We’ve had several agencies come and table this past month, including AHI’s Health Home and EASE programs, Warren County Public Health, Cricket Wireless, and representatives from Fidelis and MVP. The team from Warren County Public Health provided information on several important topics, such as sun and bike safety. They also brought these awesome tick removal kits and information books. I’ve already used mine!
Stop by any Friday, weather permitting, from 10-2 to check out what other agencies and information is available. And if you’re from an agency looking to host a table, reach out to set up a date!
Feet First
Our annual program, Feet First, is approaching quickly! Feet First provides help to purchase new school shoes for eligible children that are attending Kindergarten through high school in the fall of 2023. This year, call-ins start August 14, 2023 at 9:00 am. 518-793-0797. We will take your application over the phone, and set you up with an appointment for pick up. Eligible families are enrolled in an assistance program such as SNAP, WIC, SSI etc. Documents and verification of income and custody will be required to be submitted. Have paper and pen ready to write down appointment time and documents to submit. Appointments will be made for the week of August 21, 2023.
