Happy New Year!
Family Service Association of Glens Falls, Inc. helped many families and individuals with urgent situations throughout the year. We received extraordinary support this past year, and want to extend a special thank you to those agencies, businesses, and community members: Tri County United Way, Stewart’s, Arrow Financial, AHI, ARCC’s Leadership Adirondack, Fidelis, Adirondack Outreach Services, City of Glens Falls, local donors, businesses, schools and the Faith community. Thank You! With your support, we were able to help in more than 3,000 total cases during 2023.

We provided financial assistance for rent, emergency housing, heat, transportation, and urgent medical needs in more than 200 different cases in 2023. We distributed diapers and formula, on average, to 6 families each week. We put together more than 1400 healthy food pantry packages that helped nourish those facing food insecurity. Feet First and Adopt A Family served more than 875 children in our community. We all worked together to keep families safe, sheltered and fed.

Thank you to the many donors and sponsors throughout the community for your generous contributions during this Christmas season. The in-kind support received for our holiday programs was extraordinary and thanks to you, we did not have to turn any families away. Each family was extremely appreciative and had some beautiful words of thanks:

Looking Ahead
A new year is a great time to reflect on our mission and ensure that the work we do accomplishes our goals. With that in mind, we’re already preparing for another excellent year and look forward to all that is to come in 2024. Thank you to everyone who supports Family Service Association because you make it possible for us to carry out our mission.

Mission Statement
We help people in a situation that is beyond their resources
by guiding them toward resolution with kindness, assistance and support.

COVID-19 Health Disparities
We are currently working through a NYSDOH grant, called Small Wellness Mini Bid, to address COVID-19 health disparities among high risk and underserved populations.  Our focus in Warren and Washington Counties is people experiencing homelessness and on those living in rural areas.  We will keep you posted on our outreach events, our progress, and our successes.

We’re Here To Help
We are available to assist in any way we can, either through providing help or connecting you with another resource that may be better equipped to assist you. Not sure who to call about a situation? Call us, and we’ll help you figure out who the proper contact would be.

Please give us a call if you are in need. Our number is 518-793-0797.
