Happy February!
Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow last week, which means we’ve got six more weeks of winter to come. Last month felt like a never-ending January, but we’ve been here providing food and assistance to a steady stream of families and individuals. During January, we provided food and essential personal items in 96 different cases helping families and individuals in need. Our food pantry is open Monday through Friday from 9-3. If you or someone you know is in need of food, please give us a call to schedule a pick up.
Thank You!
Last month, the Leadership Adirondack class hosted a Battle of the Businesses trivia night and chose Family Service Association as the recipient of the proceeds. Battle of the Businesses was a fantastic event and words alone can’t express how special the night was. Thank you, Leadership Adirondack graduates, for recognizing the work our agency does. Because of you, we will be able to help more people, address issues to remove barriers, and support healthy and stable lives for families and individuals in our area. Thank you for everything.
We also want to thank everyone who sponsored and supported this event! Thank you to Jeff from EQX and his wife for being the Trivia Emcee and scorekeeper. Thank you to Queensbury Hotel for the fabulous space. Thank you to the businesses who sponsored and the players who played. Thank you!
Thank you, Bombas!
Thanks to Bombas’ sock campaign of one purchased = one donated, we just received one of the largest shipments of donated socks I’ve ever seen! Thank you, Bombas, for your dedication and support. With your donation, we’ll be able to put new socks on the feet of so many more people in need.
