December Newsletter

Happy holidays!

During the month of November, we provided food and essential personal items in 73 different cases helping families and individuals in need. Our food pantry is open Monday through Friday from 9-3. If you or someone you know is in need of food, please give us a call to schedule a pick up.

Christmas Time Is Here
It’s finally December, and Christmas is right around the corner. We’ve been busy with our Christmas programs this month, and our Adopt-A-Family sponsors are hard at work shopping to fulfill their adopted family’s Christmas wishes. A big thank you to our sponsors for giving families a very merry Christmas!

We are also preparing for the Emergency Christmas program, which will take place the week before Christmas. The Emergency Christmas program provides food, toys, and gifts to families that are facing an urgent or emergency situation and are otherwise unable to secure holiday assistance. This year, the program will begin Monday, December 19th. Families can call in to schedule an appointment to come by and receive some gifts. This program wouldn’t be possible without the generous donations of gifts that we receive from the community. If you’re looking for a way to give back this holiday season, we would be glad to accept your donation of new toys or gifts for children of all ages!

Thank You!
In November, we were thrilled to receive a donation through Arrow Financial’s Thankful Campaign. This will help us help others in our crisis intervention and prevention work. Thank you, Tracey and Debbie, for stopping by for a tour and presenting us with the check.

We’re Here To Help
We are available to assist in any way we can, either through providing help or connecting you with another resource that may be better equipped to assist you. Not sure who to call about a situation? Call us, and we’ll help you figure out who the proper contact would be.

Please give us a call if you are in need. Our number is 518-793-0797.
