Feet First helps eligible families purchase new school shoes for children of eligible families entering kindergarten through senior year of high school. Call-ins start August 10, 2026 at 9 am. (518) 793-0797. Applications are taken over the phone and we will give you an appointment time for pick up the week of August 17th. Families are eligible if they are enrolled in an assistance program such as SNAP, WIC, SSI, and TA. IMPORTANT: Have a pen and paper ready to write down appointment time and what documents to bring. Verification documents must be presented at pick up before gift cards are released to a family. No exceptions.
